Well, I think you are on the right track. The ones that are not copies are mostly directly from life, from looking directly at the subject? Not the one with the girl’s head, obviously. And, also, maybe not the one with the blue bricks? The other two flower ones, and the bowl with fruit, feel like they were made from looking. I think you should do more of those. They are pretty good. To me, the bowl of fruit is the best because it doesn’t have any of the sort of flashiness of the others. It has that slight awkwardness that comes from really looking — I mean this in a good way. The others are somewhat let down by what feels like you trying to make them more “exciting,” or something. If you just stick to your real experience of looking, your paintings will feel more authentic, like the fruit bowl one.. . Copies are always good to do. You are good at them, though they too have a slight glibness to them which is not so interesting to me. But, still, one always learns a lot from copying great paintings. Keep going.

Regardless of why you’ve lost your taste for alcohol, you shouldn’t have been consuming it while you were taking the klonopin as it can cause serious consequences. Regardless, the clonazepam probably potentiated (made more extreme) the effects of the alcohol, and now that you’re off klonopin you don’t get the same buzz from beer. Another question is, why were you taking the klonopin? If it was as a sedative drug, you shouldn’t try to calm your nerves with alcohol as the end result is that alcohol is ultimately ******* your nerves, even if it doesn’t feel like it at first.
